as you may know last sunday i got my new piggie bubbles as a companion for poppy. this afternoon as i was spot cleaning i noticed a patch of soiled shavings that were orangey red in colour. i think it may be because bubbles never had veg before she came to me? i introduced veg slowly to her etc little gem bell peppers carrot so is that why?

Some foods can affect the colour of their wee. Keep her away from red peppers, carrots and coloured veg & fruit and check for a day, personally any other staining from that point - vet visit I reckon. You can of course their wee with pee sticks, you can get them from chemists and see if their is blood in their pee.

It could be a UTI if she is continuously having red/orangey we you should probably take her to the vets and get some medicine. But as she is only just being introduced to vegetables her body may just be starting to get used to it and again it could also be some of the foods that are colouring her wee. Hope bubbles is all good soon!
