Red spot on guinea pigs lip

Today I descoved a red spot on Ollie's lip, it does not look like a bite mark from another guinea pig and I am unsure of what it is and if I should be concerned

Hi, please take it for a vet check up. There are many problems that can occur on a guinea pig lip so it’s always better to get it checked out. x gorgeous piggy by the way x

I agree with the above posts, definitely a vet visit required. As Claire mentioned it could be cheilitis which would need antibiotics. Always best to get these things checked out early before they become a bigger problem
