Red was born some time within the past 3 weeks a year ago. I got him on the 26th of June, 2011. Here are pix of him and Salvatore out in the grass today, June 23, 2012.

Happy Birthday Red! Great to see them both enjoying the grass.

(4 leaf clover! Some luck may come Red's way if he eats it...although he was very very lucky to have found you)

They're both looking great, have they not bonded? Just wondered as they're not munching together.

Sorry to be such a non-participant, but I've had other distressing things to deal with, not the least of which is one of my doggies, Tatiana

suffered from cancer, eventually having to be PTS when she could not breathe because of the spread to her lungs. Very sad, very money-and-time consuming, very soul-injuring.

They have turned out to be a pair who are affectionate as long as there is a barrier between them. When together, they start the male territory stuff and they attack each other. But with the wall, they talk to each other, lie next to each other, sniff each other, and wheek for each other when one is temporarily absent. But together - let's just say that one time Salvatore took a flying leap (didn't know GPs could jump like that!) onto Redemption and attacked him, and they have each had to heal from bite wounds, and the odor is terribly bad.
 
It's a pity about that, can't live with each other - can't live without each other! Bit like me and the wife! :)) :)) :))
 
I remember you saying your doggie was poorly, so sorry you lost her, it's terribly distressing but i hope she is at peace now, pain free, you did the right thing :)

COULD SOMEONE send me a private message from this forum? As I posted over in the health/dental section, because of the anti-social-networking-site-software, I can't get into this forum unless I can find a back door. PMs usually provide me the way in to the forums I frequent, as the blocking program of the library here is "trained" to look for only the front page of the forum. I got in this time because Google offered supplemental links to other parts of the forum. Then to get back into this message I did a forum search for it and am now posting using Quick Reply. Anything that bypasses the entry page seems to work. Anyway, if my PMs are set up to alert me using my e-mail, which I think they are, then I can just click that link and I'm in. Sorry to use an old thread instead of posting new, but a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do.
