I took Domino to the vets a week ago because I was concerned about her weight. Basically, she's just small compared to her enormous sisters. I was worried because she started refusing treats. Now she's refusing tomatoes which need to be another of her faves. Still eating nuggets and hay and being herself, which the vet said to keep an eye on. She weighs around 700g and the vet did a full check, she had food in her mouth and was generally bright and alert. I just don't know why she's suddenly refusing certain foods.

Also do you know how to check her heft?
They can sometimes just go off things and not like them anymore, or it can be a early alert to something brewing.
As long as she is still eating enough hay and maintaining her weight then that is the main thing at this point (hay being 80% of daily food intake; veg 15%, nuggets just 5%).
I would switch to daily weight checks for a while to ensure she continues to eat enough hay and maintain her weight. If she loses 50g or more than step in with syringe feeding and return to the vet

I find mine go off certain foods from time to time. I think it's to do with the variety of the seed which differs with country of origin. We are now entering the time of year when a lot of British grown salad stuff is going out of season and the supermarket food will be imported, it tastes different. I had one pair of boars who wouldn't eat plastic wrapped cucumber which was okay at that time as the local veg shop sold unwrapped ones.

OR our little guinea friends have a much better sense of smell and taste than we do and they know what's good! So not fussy!
So a little update. Today she accepted a treat for the first time in a while and when I picked her up she was defo heavier. We weighed her and she's put on 100g. I'm so damn proud of her. She must've just been under the weather or something.
