oh sorry i'm not from the UK but i know one of our lovely people who know more will respond soon xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
In OZ we only have certain products......so no use me advising :red

Most pigs don't seem to get fleas, lice are more common.
I do not treat my pigs on the off chance that they might have a problem,
The shampoo to use, when they do have a problem, is Flea or Die.

I don't think they get fleas. They can get lice and mites though.

Mites you can treat with Xeno 450 (you can do this every few months to prevent if you wish)

Lice you can but a shampoo called Lice and easy from Gorgeous guineas and this stuff is amazing for getting rid of lice and giving them a wonderful amazing coat.

I thought it was fine for rabbits to have guinea pig food but not the other way around, or is that wrong.

I do all my guinea's in flea or die every 6 weeks with a follow up bath 7 days later. Much the same with my bunnys (many wont agree with bathing buns, but mine are much healthier and nicer coats for it) All new buns and guinea's are bathed when they come in (depending on health isssues)

I also worm any pigs that come in over the age of 4 months with panacur and ivomec, every 3 months as a preventative method. (many vets will tell you its not needed) i also offer this service to raise a little funds for my rescue.

In regards to food, its is not ideal for a guinea to eat rabbit food as it lacks in the vit c. Nor rabbits to eat guinea food either as it lacks the fiber needed. If you are short on bun food and cant get to the shop, its ok to temp feed bun guinea food but not for a long term thing.
