Reintroducing boars together, will they be okay? HELP!

Heyoo all,

I have tried to find a similar question to this before i posted this but i couldn't find any, so sorry if this has already been asked!

I'm really needing any advice/help on my two boars both young at 9 weeks, Arthur has currently (today!) been separated from his brother under vets orders as he is suffering from an eye and a chest infection he is taking Baytril Oral for his chest and Fucithalmic Vet for his eyes. Arthur is being kept in a plastic see-through cage with bars over the top next to his brother's cage, and they are still whooping to one another.

I have to keep them separated for a week, will Arthur and Harvey fight once reintroduced after this week? They have been perfect together, and i dont want to lose their bond due to Arthurs illness, is their anything else i can keep doing to keep them friends?

Has anyone else had this situation before? Any help or advise is greatly appreciated! Thank you for reading |)

Preferably reintroduce them on neutral ground first. Normally, I would recommend a buddy bath, but they are a bit young for that. Perhaps you can just wipe both down with the same slightly damp cloth in order to mingle body smell?

I wouldn't expect any problems - at their age, they haven't been hit with the big hormones yet and will be only too happy to have company again!

Thank you i will try this when i reintroduce them next week, hopefully they'll remember each other and enjoy their bath thankies This has reassured me very much - so worried about them not getting on!
