I am sure most of you will remember Buddy's thread:

(This is a general thread showing the intake of the day 15th February 2010) - Buddy was one of the intake:

Well we are 5 months on now from this and Buddy was castrated last week after finally proving to be fit and healthy - it has taken a long time but unlike Paloma - Buddy has grown ALL his hair back and is in super condition.

He is reserved and ready to go to a fabulous home - we are very proud of him. I am sad to see him go and very nearly kept him but he is going on to better things.

Becky has a recent picture of Buddy so I will ask her to post it for me - I can't find it on my memory stick xxxxx

That's fantastic news, he deserves a fabulous home. Well done to you for getting him healthy again :)

I wish him lots of love and luck xx

Oh wow, that's such a beautiful bum now. Such a transformation.

Would it be too much to ask for a piccy of his lovely face as well. rolleyes

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I love Buddy. He's really my sort of boy. Good job he has a home or I might have found myself driving up to Scotland. :x

Well I thought he was gorgeous from the bum photo but look at that face! He's lovely I hope he finds a loving new home very soon. I can't believe how good he looks now. The photos were so shocking, I'd never seen a pig in such a state before. Well done for nursing him back to health.

I was lucky to meet him and he was just gorgeous! Well done ladies for nursing him back to health. I am so glad that has found a lovely home, he will bring his piggy slaves great joy!

Check out Paloma's thread - she was worse than the Budster - I really hope we don't get any more like these in again. Its heartbreaking and really also hurts to let them go even though its the right thing to do.

Paloma is staying of course as she is blind - but its bloomin hard letting buddy go.8... - and I don't do the cry thing often..................!

You may have had to fight my OH for him he was really taken with him after he said, when we went to visit Hels, that we weren't bringing any piggies home and he nearly got him - so glad Buddy is going to his new home :(|)

Oh what a handsome face - and bottom of course! I remember Buddy, poor boy with those awful wounds. Huge well done you for getting him fit and healthy :) great news that he is reserved too! Thanks for the pics :))

I was shocked to see that first pic 8.... I have never seen such a mess on a piggy. Good job he come to you. So the wounds didnt get infected. What is his story sorry I am new? He looks like such a lovely lad now its lovely to see him all better and ready to go to a new home.

He must have had some sort of mange I think - and he had scratched himself silly with it and had just been left - the owners obviously didn't take him to the vet at all. Check out Paloma thread in Health and Illness = she was worse in my view.

Helen.
