A few photos from my piggy place.

First Dink was buried this morning :( I don't have a piece of land to bury her in but I wanted her to stay here so I have been out and bought a big pot and a few pretty flowers and a shrub that will flower in a month or so.

Next Duke who I have just taken in. He's from the freeads and was alone in a hutch at the bottom of the garden. Kids didn't want him any more but the 2 working dogs DID :(
No idea about his diet or anything but he does seem happy enough and well enough. He has a full MOT tomorrow at the vet and if he's well he'll be neutered to live with Dolly. Right now they are side by side sharing the top floor C&C.
Dolly has slept non stop since Dink was taken out the cage on Saturday early morning. She seems revived now she can see, smell and kiss through the bars a new friend :)

Finally 2 or 3 days ago I totally covered over the run except for one side the sun couldn't get in and as it was so very very hot I put Dolly out for 20 minutes in the run, she seemed to really like it.

What a beautiful tribute to little Dink and welcome Duke, you're a handsome boy xoxo

Lovely place for Dink. :rose

Duke is indeed a handsome chap. x) And Dolly is a little darling as always; she looks very happy to have some fresh air. x

Dolly is a skinny one yep. She's my first and only one who recently lost her cagemate but she's not fussed on grown up girls and I am not getting another baby after losing Dink.

I think Duke is about 8 months from what I can work out, maybe 7. The lady who had him really didn't know much at all. I went and got him as fast as I could as he was on offer for next to nothing WITH his hutch (which I didn't take) and I could see something taking him and leaving him all alone. He apparently did have a buddy for a while who used to attack him, he didn't start the fights by all account. But they decided to get rid of his pal about 5 months ago and just left him on his own. Apparently they said he was happy as he ran in circles round and round the hutch! Does that sound like happiness to you?

Duke is very handsome, I hope he does get a clean bill of health and can be neutered. They'll make a lovely couple.

Beautiful arrangement for Dink too, very fitting.

Maybe we can have a joint piggie wedding? My Kingslie and Saffron, and your Duke and Dolly. :))

That's a lovely tribute to Dink. It's really beautiful.

Duke is a real stunner. You're very lucky and he's also very lucky, by the sounds of it! He'll soon realise what it's like to get constant love and attention...From both you and Dolly. What a lucky chap xx>>>

I love Dolly. I think she's so cute.
I don't get people who don't like skinnies. I think they are absolutely beautiful. She just has the most precious face I have ever seen.

It had to be pretty to honour Dink and the impact she had on all of us here. My husband has been away working and it's been hard going just me and all the sadness. My poor house and children have been neglected. I would do it all again though.

I hope so too. The vet knows his stuff so he'll be able to tell me. He's very cute and has such a kind little face but he hasn't shut up all day! He's chuntering away like mad, on and on - I have never heard such a chatty pig!

I would love them to have a joint wedding! When is Kingslie being neutered? Do you have a date yet?

Kingslie is hopefully going in on 2nd or 9th June, so the 'wedding' will be mid July.

What a lovely tribute for Dink! I wish i had thought of something like that when I lost my little Patch! :(

Duke is gorgeous, what a relief you got to him before someone else did who may not of taken care of him as well. Hope his check at the vets goes well tomorrow! Dolly is a little sweetie, such a pretty face. I hope that her and Duke get a long great! :)

What a lovely idea to keep Dink with you!

Duke looks like a dreamboat, and I hope that he gets a clean bill of health despite his less than optimal circumstances - he must think he's landed in Heaven! I am glad that dolly has perked up at his presence, too! She looks like she's enjoying her outside trip very much!

I hope that his op goes well so that Dolly can have her very own Prince Charming!

Duke is just lovely and Dolly so pretty x)

I love the flower pot to remember Dink by. A very nice tribute to your little girl xx

This is such a lovely thing to have done for little Dink, Lisa. I have been thinking about her all this week too, so sad. Dolly and Duke are soo sweet too. :)
