almost to the exact time now (it was 1am approx) ... i held my beautiful eddie as he was helped to the bridge. alot of you will know that he was very poorly with kidney disease and we had to make the painful decision to let him go.

we miss you eddie bear. it's so unfair what happened. i'm sorry i still haven't put your picture in your casket.. i just haven't been able to accept that you are really in there, and it's still so painful thinking of what happened. i'll get it sorted for you as soon as i can little one.

i hope you are happy at the bridge sweetheart. love you lots and lots x

Wow, I'm so very sorry that this happened to you and to your little Eddie. :hug:I recently lost my Ginger, and it hurts so bad. He is the main reason I joined this forum in the first place! I'm so happy I did. I'm always here if you need anything. Our little piggies are always so special and leave a big void when they go.
 
Awwww I remember handsome Eddie he was poorly the same time last year as my boy Junior who we sadly lost
in January in a tragic unfortunate accident. Poor little Eddie doesn't seem a year ago already.

I hope both our boys are up there somewhere causing lots of trouble :lol!: as you do haha
well I know for a fact Junior will be the little rascal he was x :)

i hope they are both having lots of fun at the bridge. it's a comfort to know that eddie is with maisie. she passed in the august and then he went in december so not far apart really, despite there being five years between them. he adored maisie and i think he felt lost after she went. i always wonder if this made his illness worse, even though we didn't know about it yet. but it was probably going on for a while before it showed on blood tests. he got to spend nearly three months bonded again to mollie, who he really didn't want to leave that night :( he used all his strength to try and crawl back to her across the vet table but he was so weak that all his limbs were splayed as he tried - broke my heart :(:(:( - i lifted her over to him instead and they had kisses goodbye :( x
 
So sorry you have lost Eddie. You did the kindest thing you could for him as he was obviously in pain. You were with him and he also had Mollie to comfort him. He is now pain free and skipping around over the Bridge.

Freddie and Marmalade will look after him at the Bridge. They are prob getting up to all sorts of mischief together to be honest.
