Junior Guinea Pig
A few months ago, on 30th April (2014) I lost my darling little girl, Ruby, from bloat a few months shy of her 3rd birthday. It was a really sad time, and a massive shock as she became ill, worsened and then passed away within a day.
A consolation is that she wasn't in pain for too long- when she began to spasm she was taken to the vets immediately, and given gas to help her cross over to the Rainbow Bridge.
To this day, I still don't know for sure what she could have eaten... even so, since then I've been checking the runs and cages religiously to make sure all is well and they can't nibble on anything they shouldn't be!
R.I.P my baby, and don't cause to much trouble with all the other beautiful little souls on the Rainbow Bridge!

^ Around a week after she was born (maybe a bit older, I'm not entirely sure)

With Auntie Willow, Mum Almond and Auntie Fizz! ^
With her sister, Peanut ^
With her brother, and bond, Sampson ^
