Yesterday I was looking at Erin and suddenly thought of the name "Coco" because her color reminds me of chocolate. Should I rename her Coco?IMG_4256.webp

Go for it! Erin will easily adapt to being called differently. ;)

I have renamed a few piggies when the initial name just didn't work out after a few weeks.
Tegan 'Beautiful' became Telyn 'Harp' because of her very loud voice, truly ear splitting wheek and her inability to shut up.
Ffowlyn 'Chicken/Fowl' (for her looks when she suddenly grew a chicken tail) was originally Briallen 'Primrose', but it just didn't feel right.

I have re-used both the original names because I really like them. Second time round they stuck.
Tegan Syndod 'Little Beautiful Surprise' was born here a few months after Telyn's unexpected early death from sudden acute heart failure (this time round with the English and not the Welsh pronunciation) and my current Briallen (nickname Bria) is a gentle lady who the name really suits.

Jezebel was almost renamed Jemimah, though my husband later decided she looks like an Ermintrude... she was used to answering to Jessy though so I thought we wouldnt confuse her too much!

They always know how to endear themselves to us, don't they? :))

Telyn even got a swipe from the very tired Tribe patriarch for not shutting up, but it lasted all of half a minute...
You could see the whole group gritting their teeth and mentally holding their paws over their ears! :D

So far, Telyn is the only piggy that has ever managed to make my ears ring.

Comet used to go mad for wheeking, I used to joke he did it for the both of them because Blitzen was almost mute in comparison. In that respect, they did suit their names: Comet was the noisy fireball who got into everything and made as much of an entrance and an impression as possible, and Blitzen with his hit-and-run tactics on stealing all the food as sneakily as possible.
