Jasper is having eye discharge again. He had one long ago, for which the vet said was probably because he was starting to have a URI. He said he could hear a tickle/something. He got antibiotics and all was good. Then he had hay poke, which seemed to have healed well. He had antibiotics, metacam, (remend, if i remember corectly the name). Then recently(end Feb start March)he had eye discharge again from both eyes. He got eye antibiotics for it and oral as well. The vet wasn't sure of the exact cause but said the antibiotics will probably deal with whatever was causing it. He got checked for corneal ulcer and he didn't have. The discharge stopped.

Now he is having that eye discharge again. The one on the photo isn't that much, but sometimes it gets a lot more wetter that his cheek gets wet.

Ill get him checked again, but its quite baffling what's causing this.

I hope your vet can find the cause and it clears up completely 🤞🏻

They prescribed him antibiotic drops and eye gel drops-with carbomer. The vet said ,he might be sensitive to the hay or something.

The thing is he became an absolute menace🥲 I can't put those drops in his eye. He moves all the time, dodging, jumping, running, kickboxing etc..

He doesn't like them drops at all, maybe they sting. I try to distract him with pellets but it doesn't quite work.

The carbomer gel drops have a very sharp edge/dispenser.
Any advice how to give him those drops safely?
