P@H website out of stock all sizes of own brand nuggets, which are the only ones my two will actually eat. I think they're rosemary and mint flavoured!

Is there anything similar out there?

(Oh and if anyone knows where I can buy gravy bones for dogs without having to invest in 10kg which would last longer than the dog himself....)

My guys came from the adoption section at pets at home, the store had no pellets in stock. I got sent home with a little bag of p@h nuggets from the supply kept for the store animals & I switched them over the the burgess excel nuggets with no issues at all 😁 they have black current & oregano or mint flavoured, mine seem to actually prefer these nuggets as slightly smaller.

In a pinch you can leave pellets off the diet. Feed some fresh grass instead if you have access to it; it is better for the teeth and rich in vitamin C. ;)

This has worried me as I was going to pay a visit to P@H on Saturday as my 4 piggies need a new pack. I bought them some grainfree ones last year and they refused to eat them. I ended up throwing them away. I can't give them grass as my lawn is more moss than grass :(

Which nuggets have they tried already? I could post you a sample pack of the SS grain free which I got as a freebie with my last online order, if you'd like to try them.

Pellets are the part of the diet that you can leave out quite happily. if you can find some dry forage instead, then feed that as a daily treat instead.

My childhood piggies didn't have any pellets and still lived to nearly 10 years of age. ;)

Thanks for that info Wiebke. Wilf might sulk, but I will have to get more salad. I think my stock of hay should see them through this lockdown - I had to buy a 20kg bag last week as that was all I could get my hands on lol

That lasts me about a week...

Instead of salad, feed a bit more fresh herbs - parsley, mint, basil, dill etc.
Fresh dandelion from the garden is also not a bad pellet replacement if you can't use grass.
