I'm so proud of myself! I recently rehomed 2 boys, smudge and tikka from MarthaandMaud (hiya, hope you're reading this!).
Well, I cut smudge's hair and nails for the first time today. Its not great, but its now off the floor again, not too bad a job and I'm pleased at how easy it was and now much happier about the task of keeping a sheltie. I've washed both their grease spots too and all is well.
I think i've had them 3 weeks and they've really become part of the family. Toby knows how to feed them and he's only 2 and a half. He knows they have GP food and some dried grass and often puts the food and grass in the bowl himself. He helps me brush them too when they are on my lap and they are so gentle. He knows their names and shouts "smudgey, tikka, its food time". Best of all Phil (hubby) refers to them as "our guineas" and when we had rabbits they were always "your rabbits".
I love my boys!
