Hi,
I've just rescued a boar, believed to be about 8 months old. Can anyone suggest how much he should weigh? Just weighed him and he's 689g which seems rather light. He's got a skin condition and don't think he's ever been given any hay. Poops also looking rather pale, but not slimy at all.
Any advice appreciated, thanks.

There is a big variation in weights, but this does seem a little on the light side. Once you have him on a good diet, and address the skin issue, I would expect him to start gaining weight. A bit of tlc will work wonders. A vet check up will show up any other problems the poor guy may have. Well done for rescuing him!
