Hi everyone

Have seen a boar in a rescue that had to be separated as he had been picked on and had been badly injured. I wanted to know if it would be safe to introduce him to my two girls or after his attack he might be afraid of other pigs and attack them.

Generally bullied boars do better living sows as they tend to be submissive. If the rescue allows you to bring our piggies for dating to see if they gel, that would be great. Otherwise ask whether the rescue would be OK if you could return him in case a bonding didn't come off.
The alternative for a failed bonding would be to keep him as a next door neighbour with full body visual, audio and nose touching interaction to keep him stimulated. You can never predict a bonding as it very much depends on the dynamics between the personalities involved, so if you have to do the intro yourself, you have to have a plan B.

Please make sure whether you are dealing with a rescue with mandatory quarantine/vet care and a pregnancy watch or with a substandard rescue. There is no licensing or supervision in the English speaking countries. Anybody can call themselves a rescue or a breeder and the results are accordingly.
