Adult Guinea Pig
after taking in 7 boars(x2 3yr olds) and a rabbit 10 days ago,i noticed on arrival that one of the 3yr old boars teeth bottom ones were broken to the gum (all regrown now)top ones looked ok and he is and was eating ok,the other 3yr old guinea his teeth weren't broken but i noticed his top 2 teeth were very long but again both have and were eating very well with no problems and both are a good weight, well today the 3yr old with overgrown top teeth has had a little wet pellet poos, and felt well soggy feeling when i picked him up i then thought he feels a little dehydrated but is still eating and drinking so ive brought them both in together in the house so i can check on him, well ive noticed he is struggling a little with his dry food but not with hay or veg,but his teeth look very over grown the top 2,ive felt his back teeth with my little finger which don't really feel bad so I'm going to take him the vets 2moz the get the 2 over grown top teeth cut has after 10 days on a good diet he hasn't wore them down, and he has lost some weight ,but is now on recovery feeds but is still eating and drinking even if he is struggling with his dry food,
looking at his teeth and his mouth his bottom lip droops like his teeth don't meet, thinking it could be his back teeth any other advice would be great...
