Rescued Piggies in 2011 - A Thank You to All!

I would like to thank everyone who has rescued or rehomed a guinea pig or guinea pigs during 2011.

I know that such alot of hard work goes on, usually behind the scenes, by rescue centres (thank you in particular!) and also individuals who help either by providing temporary shelder and/or a forever loving home for needy piggies.

May I take this opportunity to thank you all and wish you a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year!

I am sure that all of us will continue doing this work into 2012. For me personally, I gain so much satisfaction when I rehome piggies who have been neglected and need a loving home and then see them gaining weight, popcorning around and looking so healthy after providing them with a comfy bed, good food and tlc xx

I would like to add my thanks to those that have homed from a rescue, without you coming forward and taking these precious piggies home we can't help those that are waiting for rescue space.

I have space for 40 pigs (well I know it's been a bit elastic this year) but if I didn't have homes coming forward there would have been 120 pigs that I could not have taken in, so thank you so very much for thinking rescue and adopting.

I totally agree... I foster for the North East ginea pig rescue but when you get piggies that are frightened and manage to change them into confident little souls my heart could pop :<>
