Malice
Junior Guinea Pig
So I had to pop into Staples yesterday for some office supplies and as P@H is next door, I thought I'd look at their piggies (I know getting rescues is preferable, but I'm not allowed any more pigs at the moment and, as it happened, they only had two young boars, when I'd prefer more sows). Although they only had two babies, I noticed they had one, all on her lonesome, in the adoption centre. She was an adult guinea, but she looked so sad and lonely! At first I thought the cage was empty, but, no, she was just hiding.
It broke my heart to see her all alone! Piggies shouldn't live alone. =( I really wanted to adopt her then and there but my cage isn't big enough for more than two pigs, really, and I can't afford a bigger one yet. I could get another cage for free, that's the same size as the one I have, but then one would still be alone. =(
I've told my boyfriend that if she's still there, alone, in a week I'm getting her though, because it's just too sad. I hope someone in a better situation than me can provide her with a forever home soon.
