I was in P@H today and the sign above the small animals said they cant sell livestock to people under 16 years of age unless accompanied by an adult. I thought it was 18 :(

No, it's 16, has been for a while (unfortunately). It was 12 up until the Animal Welfare Bill came in (though P@H policy was still 16). I still don't think those who are not legally adults should be allowed to buy animals, i.e. under 18s.

i see what you mean and at the end of the day, yes there is a need for a responsible adult there who likes the piggies and would be willing to pay for expensive vetrinary fees and there if the child lost interest, which i'm never going to, or to help. however my mum is all that, and i think it's a good pairing, and i know that she helps me, but i'm not being lazy or uninterested in the not so fun bits, it's cos i feel horrible the whole time, i would definitelf be doing everything if i wasn't ill.
