I mentioned on my previous thread about smokey and bandit about one of my cats, Diesel.
Once again, I had my heart broken on Thursday 18th - I had to help my special boy over the bridge. He fought a good fight against thyroid issues for a while but his recent fight against liver failure was one has was never going to win. He leaves his sister, Saffron and Daughter, Salem missing him. He was a wonderful little boy, always happy to please and never happier than when you tickled inbetween his shoulder blades.
Have a lovely sleep my boy.....Mummy will be ok, knowing that you are safe with your other brother and sister, mum and grand mum - who went across the bridge before you and were waiting . Until we meet again. Love you x

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your cat, they are huge parts of the family. Massive hugs to you x

Take each day as it comes. 16 years is such a long time. They become huge parts of our lives over a small period of time but 16 years is huge, you build up routines with them and it takes a while to try to find a new normal.. Time does heal, but it never fully papers over the hole of loss. But that hole gets filled with happy memories over time rather than the raw pain you feel now. He'll always stay in your heart x x
 
Always devastating to lose a four legged family member. Try to remember Diesel in his glory days as he was at his best and not how he was at the end. Hugs. R IP Diesel x
