Yesterday I lost my most favourite, special and best girl in the whole entire world.
I remember how hard I tried to convince my mum to let me have guinea pigs and when she eventually agreed I was so happy I had already picked a name for her; Fairy. I remember how we searched far and wide on my thirteenth birthday to find you and we did, from the very first second I held you tight in my arms I knew that you were the one. I loved everything about you, your crazy personality, your wild hair that made you look as if you had a fringe and your beautiful red eyes that everyone seemed to fear didn’t scare me. I wanted to give you the best life possible, I got you tunnels and houses and the best type of hay I could find because you deserved the best of everything. Then you lost your sight but that didn’t bother you too much I helped you to make sure you got enough food and water. I will miss you so so much, it’s too quiet and lonely without you and I wish so much there was something that I could of done to help you. I hope you are safe and happy and having the best time ever where you are, maybe you will be able to see again! I will never ever forget you and all the fun times we had together, I love you so so much and one day I will see you again. Look over your sisters and brother they miss you so much and I hope you will look over me too. I love you Fairy, more than every single fish in the sea

I’m so sorry for your loss. Fairy was obviously very well loved and she will be missed. Popcorn free beautiful girl at the Rainbow Bridge. Hugs x
 
A beautiful post for a beautiful girl. Fairy was very lucky to have a mummy who loved her so much.

You did very well taking care of her, she was obviously a super special piggy and so fortunate to have you. Popcorn free, Fairy. Eat lots of grass, enjoy being fit and young and happy while you wait for your special human.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

hello wee lass. ive read about your piggie and i be honest I'm sad. not cos she died cos she was loved so much by you. And it really hurts to let go. Why does it hurt :nod: well she be missed as she sounds fantastic. I'm a lot older than you and I love pets and it hurts when one says bye bye you think why have you left me. But I rather love my piggies and sad lose than leave them not knowing what will happen if was not their mummy or daddy. You were a great mum to fairy and that lass is to me is briĺliant of one so young. She was a lucky piggie. One day I tell all about my piggie but I'm weak. you are not. well done. x

You and Fairy have a bond that will never leave you. Keep her in your heart until that day. The Rainbow Bridge explanation has me crying as I type this, as I too lost my beautiful piggy some weeks ago.
