Rest In Peace, Gertrude.

Yesterday unfortunately Gertrude had to be PTS because of an underlying illness. It always happens so fast. She wasn’t right for two weeks and she lived a healthy 7 years! I’m so happy she got to that age. She was my best friend. She was one of ours, we bred her and kept her with her mum, cousins, uncle and auntie. She spent the majority of her life with her biological family running on the grass forever eating. Out of the whole 6 we kept, she’s the last one. My first piggie, Noddy, was her dad who we adopted in 2008. You could see a lot of Noddy in Gertrude for sure I already miss her millions, she was adored by my family and I will never, ever forget her.

Sleep tight Gertrude, back with your piggie family forever Xx

She loved her life I think, was spoilt rotten and was the most photographed piggie ever she was very special.
