I wanted to leave a little tribute here to our rescue piggie Rocket.
He must have been the happiest little guinea pig that we ever met. Always popcorning and zooming around. First one to the front of the cage when the fridge door opened, and the highest pitch wheeking (for attention, but mostly for food) that I’ve ever heard!
Your brother is already missing you, and all of the time you spent bugging him! The other guys miss you so much too.

I will always feel guilty for letting you down little man, and don’t want you to ever forgive me. I wish I could have done more.

I want you to know how sorry I am and how much you are loved and missed. I hope you enjoyed the short time you had with us.

I’m so sorry you lost Rocket, what a handsome little chap he was, sounded so full of character. Please don’t blame yourself, you are such a caring owner and you did everything you could have done for him :hug:

So sorry Rocket decided to leave you for the Rainbow Bridge. Sometimes the call is just too strong and they have to go. Guinea Pigs live for today and you gave him lots of happy todays.
 
What a lovely boy, I'm so sorry you have lost him. Please think about the wonderful life you gave him, it sounds like he enjoyed every day and you are responsible for that happiness. Keep your happy memories safe and one day they will swamp the sadness of the last few days. Please be kind to yourself 💜

Lovely tribute to your little man. Please don’t blame yourself, you really did do all you could for him. It’s a natural part of the grieving process to question everything you did or could have done, and to ask what if, what if, what if. But those what ifs just end up tormenting you. Go gently on yourself. You’ve suffered a bereavement. Sleep tight stunning fellow x
