Junior Guinea Pig
Scruff (Scwooflington) sadly had to be put to sleep today at the age of 6. She had become very helpless, as she couldn't walk or clean herself. She was so friendly in her last weeks; she would often nuzzle me and whenever I went near her she would lift her head up and attempt to walk but she was in too much pain to walk properly. She was such a lovely guinea pig, from when we got her (2011) to the day she passed. I was 9 when we brought her home, and she helped me through many hard times in school. I'm 13 now. It was a very hard decision to make, considering I had her life in my hands. But it was best she was put to sleep really, as she couldn't live like she wanted to anymore. I will always remember her for eating the portion of food that could feed 3 guinea pigs in one go. She was such a lively and alert piggie with so much personality. She used to popcorn around the garden all the time and run around the bushes over and over again. Her eyes were always bright and full of life, even today before she was put down. Here are some pictures I took of her in her last week.

Goodbye little Scruff. You will be so so so very missed. Love you, popcorn free with your Aunt Floss in piggie heaven. x
