Wednesday I ended up putting Wiley pig to sleep. The vet offered icu stay with guarded prognosis but my fiancé and I saw too many signs her end was here (not eating or drinking, not using the bathroom, barely could move, even syringe feeding would not swallow, temp down to 93f (normal is 99-103f) dull eyes, and not reacting normally to pain/ discomfort.)
We are so heart broken. We had just lost Whinny in may due to cancer. Here are some fond memories....

So sorry for your losses. It’s so hard when they go. They look like they had a good life with you.
 
I’m so sorry for your loss, you put her 1st at the end even though it’s the hardest decision to make.Huge hugs xx
 
Thanks for your kind words, they were both older pigs and had good long lives.
 
I am very sorry for your losses. When the last one of pair dies, you grieve for the predeceased companions all over again, too, as it is the end of an era when your alst connection has gone. :(

Try to think of Whiley and Whinney reunited again at the Rainbow Bridge. ;)
 
I am so sorry to hear your sad news. Such a horrible, difficult decision to have to make but when you know your animals well you know when it's kindest to let them go. Sending you big hugs.

Very true, it's been so hard and it just re-opens the wound from losing Whinny. I did tell Wiley before we let her go that she was going to be with her sister again so hopefully they are at peace.
 
So sorry that you have lost your two guinea pigs so close together. Both Whinny and Wiley will be popcorning together over the rainbow bridge. They had a loving home with you.
 
I'm so sorry for you, you have had a lot of losses, you will come through. You gave you're piggy the ultimate gift, to let her go when things got tough for her
