Hey, i know i left but i had to write my piece for my Winston who was put down this morning.
It's all just catching up on me, yesterday we thought he had hurt his leg so we made an appointment with the vet for later that day. After going out and coming back he had gone downhill, puss coming out of his eyes, laying on his side and whimpering when we picked him up.
We went straight down to the vet who thought it was a very bad ear infection. He gave him two injection one for the infection and for the pain.
But this morning he had gotten worse than better and we went to vet who said it was possible meningitis or a tumour that had gotten very aggressive very quickly. So we made the very hard and difficult decision to put him to sleep.

I feel like such a let down, Stig and now Winston. But my vet a sured me it wasn't something we could have prevented or for saw.

Rest in Peace Winston, my handsome man. Mummy loved you and i'll miss you so much! Your with Stig now, popcorn away, your not in pain anymore.

It's heartbreaking when things are out of our control but you did your best for him.
Run free sweet boy to the bridge where Stig is waiting so you can always be together x>>

So sorry for your losses, it's so sad you've lost 2 so close together. He will be reunited with Stig at the bridge. *hugs*

I am sorry that you had to let Winston go, poor boy! What he has come down with sounds very nasty. It must have been such a shock for you!

I am so sorry for your loss. I am going through the pain of it all just now too and wasn't able to do anything. we do the very best we can for them, we have to be strong in that though and know they are now at peace.

Please don't feel guilty, you can't always control these things, and plus our lil guineas are excellent at hiding their illnesses. Just take solace that he is with Stig now. RIP Winston xx
 
awwww what a shame, poor Winston he sounds like he was very poorly bless him :(

I'm sorry that you lost him, but hes not in pain anymore and will be popcorning at that bridge with all the other piggies we have all lost x

aww I'm so sorry to hear about Winston, like the vet said this kind of thing isn't anything anyone could predict, you did you best by him.
