Brill news, I'm going up to my P@H on Monday so I'll check their supplies. I do think their waterbottles are too far away from them.

It's good when something positive happens! Well done! :smitten:

oh theyve also altered all their stock of exercise balls, and stuck big labels on them saying "not suitable for guinea pigs"

That was the result of my email Lez! I moaned at them for weeks about those balls! They still havent changed them in my local store, but I have been in a few other stores and they have changed the balls. Stickers everywhere saying 'exercise balls are not suitable for guinea pigs'! So, they do listen sometimes! Well done you! O0

I think its a bit unfair to post that on a forum! I'm not going into it because head office are aware of how bad my local P@H is, so therefore it is out of my hands. My local store recieved the memos, just like the other stores did, but chose to ignore them. Head Office are on to them, so its end of subject, as far as I am concerned.

Fair enough - I just had it in my head you were in Weymouth... and they have put the stickers on... but i've just been back over the last thread, but it was somebody else who was in Weymouth :D

I go to my local P & H store every week to get Herbage hay etc and as a result of my constant complaints every week to the store manager about the hayracks that are so high up that a guinea pig on stilts would not reach the hay I have been informed that they are having a refurb in April where their new housing will be better planned. For now they put a huge pile of hay on the floor for them. Before this happened I took the manager to the poor guinea pigs and helped myself to a bag of their hay and placed a big pile on the floor for them and they ate like there was no tomorrow, he was rather embarrassed ;D I said that I would be checking on them every time I went instore and If I found them without or unable to reach their hay I would report them o the R.S.P.C.A >:D Everytime I go in there I check on them :) and I always make a point of being served by the manager who is awfully polite ;D
