So I only went away for 3 nights, couldn't wait to get home and check in with my furballs...and whilst you shouldn't have a favourite, lets face it we do.

Everyone's favourite who visits is Captain Jack (avatar), he is the love of my piggy world and honestly as soon as I walked outside, I was talking to them all, chatting away. And like most hoomins we have a routine, I checked in with Jack and he was bouncing around excited to see me.

He came out and had some lovely cuddles and was purring away...bless he just couldn't decide what to do first...purr or try hopping in my arms.

I love my piggies so much, yes I'm an adult, yes I'm of sound mind and body, make very important decisions every day but I'm crazy about my critter crew.

My one eyed Jack....

Sounds like little Jack missed his mummy as much as she missed him. Sometimes the best part of taking a trip is coming back home, isn't it? :)

awww... i went away for one night and was greeted with..... a stinky poo filled hay tray ! OH had taken the tray out and left it in the warm utility room lol ! he also forgot to give them their veggie breakfast - BUT he did pick poo, top up hay and let them out in their run SO he did ok !
Wondered why the pigs were so hungry at dinner tonight - that was cos they had missed their breakfast veg !

I often go off for a few days, my OH takes over piggy care while I'm away. This is the first time I've left Willow and Bracken so don't know about them. Spike and Peanut give me the silent treatment and sulk for a couple of days when I get back. Spike is also very good at stink eye. Don't know what their problem is really, they are kept to their usual routine and diet so there's no reason to miss me!

Now that's a well trained piggy husband.

Ohhh that stink eye, I'm so glad I never have to deal with.

Am leaving my piggie family for a week my neighbour is going to look after them as she knows all about piggies she used to breed them so she knows what she is doing. Hope the piggies talk to me when I get back. I went away over the weekend and they gave me the silent treatment when I got back and that was just me the rest of the family were home! Dread to think how they will treat us all when we get back!

Awwwwwwwww.

Not been away yet. I made sure thatbi went away just before i got them from the rescue so that it would be aaages before i went away again. Not looking forward to leaving them ....

Neither am I! It's the first time in about 9 months that we have left them with no family member present just my very knowledgeable neighbour.

Certainly was when they were younger. They were a pet shop litter! So we had a holiday when they were only about 8 weeks old. If it was a planned litter obviously I wouldn't have left them so young. They are all grown up now but still just as cute!

Our piggies' reaction in along the lines of, "Never mind unpacking, get the veggies, slave!" :))
