Adult Guinea Pig
I've just got home from my week's holiday away. So pleased to be reunited with my boys, thankfully they seem well and appear to remember me - they came running out when they heard me and hung around waiting for food!
I know my dad cares for them a lot and tries his best but I dread to think what they've been getting fed all week - the left overs from tonight's meal was not what was on the menu, and I found a half chewed bit of pepper with the 'reduced' sticker still on! Thankfully I know my boys' stomachs have stood much hardier tests than a little bit of a sticker so I'm sure they'll be fine; although close eyes will be kept on them! Can't wait to get up and give the cage a good clean out for them and to get them back on their usual menu!
I really thought I was ok leaving them and didn't worry much at all while I was away but now that I'm back I'm re-thinking things! Going away again in a few weeks but only for 4 nights - each meal is getting bagged up ready made with labels on! And then I won't be leaving them again anytime soon!
