Hello all! I was wondering if a reveiw thread on wagg crunch was ever done? If not can we do it and make it a sticky? Thanks! X x x x

I used to feed my piggies this when I first got them. Now I wouldn't feed my pigs this because of the issue of selective feeding. I changed to pellets after the vet said Bubble was getting a bit chunky and sure enough she slimmed right down to her normal weight when I stopped feeding this!

Thanks! It seems ok but really high in fat is the only problem. I have some smaller piggies because they are rescues and so some have had a bad time so I tend to sprinkle this on the top just to keep the appetites up! x

Wagg Crunch has been much poorer quality recently. I had one bag that had huge pellets in (Dog pellets apparently as someone else on here told me!) then this bag has lots of unpopped corn in & bits of straw etc I am very disappointed to be honest. I feed mine Burgess Blackcurrant & Oregano & Harrington's (Wagg) pellets.

That is shocking! Thanks for sharing that though! Terrible you expext certain things in the food and they just dont realise that these are our babies! Xx x

Hi... mine love the Wagg mix food, but after reading these threads I may look for something different. I have also tried the Tesco equivalent but it has some white discs in it that become sticky and can adhere to fur (this has happened to one of my piggies twice over the last two weeks - I thought I'd taken out the offending discs but unfortunately he found them and decided to wear them!).

Are the pellets as popular as the muesli mixes? If yes, what is a good (but not too expensive) brand?

I buy the Wagg food mix along with my Sainsburys shopping as there are no pet shops really that close to me. My four rescue pigs loved it in comparison with the plain pellets. I only give them a small bowl full though with lots of fresh nice things and hay alongside. I've never had any problems with the quality.
