Reviewing the piggy sitter

Time to rate how well my daughter performed at piggy sitting while we were away!
1) Hay 10/10
Lots and lots of hay everywhere, even on the fleece. Very happy piggies!
2) Water 8/10
Water bottles rinsed and refilled daily, very good except not put back in quite the correct places! How can my precious piggies be expected to find a waterbottle that is 3 C&C grids away from where it usually is?
3) Veggies and snacks 8/10
She hand fed all the veggies for every meal! This was a very popular strategy... until there were none left to go in the food bowls... then there was a piggy riot until apples were produced. But only actually 2 apples over 3 days so could be worse!
4) Pellets 2/10
Think this photo speaks for itself... the brown bits on the fleece are also mostly pellets not poops... this was 6 hours after feeding time! The piggies did not understand at all, see their outraged little faces... silly hooman we do not like pellets that much!

She certainly loves Tallulah, she's hand fed her so much we've come home to find a much more friendly and also rather paradoxical skinny pig because she's been supersized on unlimited pellets and a fair few apple slices and she's rather chubby now not skinny at all!
 
Aw at least your daughter looked after your piggies. My son was at home while we were away for the weekend and I still had to find a piggy sitter to look after my piggies. I wouldn't trust my son at all. He would say he'd do it, have every intention and then just forget!:doh: He's 25 btw.

My daughter is almost 25 too, she did much better piggy sitting this year now she has a baby to look after, than she did last summer when she brought her boyfriend and a friend with her and they drank all the alcohol in the house! Only coffee, juice and baby milk were consumed this year and the house stayed very clean :)
 
When I went away last weekend I left strict instructions; 1 small handful of pellets only in each bowl per day for breakfast. When I got back there was at least half a bowlful in each bowl. Three times the amount that they normally have and that was in the evening. The piggies weren't impressed when I took them away and gave them hay to eat!
 
Back to normal rations! This is a small handful of pellets each...

... and however much you wheek at me Tallulah-oolah-woolah that's all you and Ollie are getting until breakfast apart from a big pile of hay!
