So I made a post about my boys and their itching and scratching, and I have to come to think it's definitely mites or lice.

I'm making a new thread because I wondered what people know about revolution for guinea pigs. As I can't take the boys to the vet right now, my question is: can i use Revolution on them? - as i have it in my home (for the dog). I have heard it is often used as a replacement for Ivermectin.

Is it safe? How much should i use? how often? or is the answer just no?

What other precautions should I take?

Here is more information on revolution, which is prescription only as far as I can see. Please note that we do not at all recommend treating guinea pigs without a proper diagnosis! The dosage depends on the strength as well as the weight of your guinea pigs.
