Despite a course of 3 Ivomec injections poor Riffy and Rocky still have bugs :tickedoff:

I nit comb regularly and they have baths, but what else can I do? I don't want Ivomec again particularly. What is the stuff called Spot On? How does it work? Where do I get it?

Oh those poor little guys..... :'( :'( :'(

Good luck love we've got our paws crossed for them both :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

Spot On is Ivermectin.,which is not affective against lice.
Email Chrissie at GG and she will advise you.,she has melts and shampoos which do work.

I used spot on when my pigs had lice, my vet recommended i used it and within 2 treatments they were gone. The stuff i got was £28 from the vets but can be bought for £18 online i think, each pack contains 6 pipettes which treats 2 piggies 3 times. The injections wont be doing any good if they have lice as they are on the skin and not under it, the injections are very effective for mites.

Mary, I use the GG stuff and they do help but these poor guys have a real problem shaking them off. >:(

Is it lice? Maybe they are re infecting eachother or it is coming from the hay? do they live seperately or together? Just a thought.. :)

Maybe you should try a new hay if you can? I've also heard of people freezing it for gerbils and stuff so you could do that to kill them?

Have you just discovered they are in the hay? Nasty creatures.
Well at least you now know why they still have them so gg should work as well as nice new hay O0
Oooo hope it wasn`t a whole bale? :-\

It's always in the bloody hay >:( >:( >:(

A constant problem, but this "lot" of bugs seem so hard to shift >:( >:( >:(
