A few weeks ago i noticed a bald patch on the back of my guinea pig Milly, I assumed it was mites, so i have now sprayed her and it is getting a lot better, and the bald patch is almost completely gone. Today, i saw that my other guinea pig, Tilly had a little red rash sort of thing above her nose, could this be ring worm? Should i take them to the vet?:soz::ple::hmm:😬😬

They definitely both need to see a vet.
It is always better if you don't home treat first becasue this can make it more difficult for a vet to diagnose the problem.

Unfortunately most remedies you can but in pet shops are not very effective, and often just mask the problem rather than properly treat it.
The good news is that in the early stages most skin conditions can be quickly and easily treated once properly diagnosed.

Good luck with the girls at the vet - I hope they feel better soon.

109795This what Tilly looks like.
Also these photos aren't my actual guinea pigs, it is just from the internet.

Definitely go to a vet, if you have a note infestation both piggies will need to be treated even if only one has symptoms otherwise they will keep passing to each other. Also many of the over counter treatments are not strong enough to resolve the problem.

Let us all know how you get on at the vets, best cleared up as quickly as possible as they do suffer x
