Junior Guinea Pig
Well, after worrying myself sick, it all went really well! 1st I put them in the pen indoors with nothing but a big plate of dandelion leaves and lots of newspaper because I expected a 'peeing competition'.....they did a bit of squeaking and walking around eachother, but the girls were much more interested in the dandelions! I let them wander round eachother for about an hour whilst I gave the C&C a good scrub and put in all new bedding, lots of hay, nuggets and fresh, then put Ringo in 1st so he could have a good look round. He's as happy as Larry, like he can't believe what a lucky boy he is. He keeps doing these little popcorns then runs around like a loon. The girls are still doing a bit of squeaking at him when he gets too close and frisky, but it was surprisingly uneventful!
The first stage - girls more interested in stuffing their faces!
Moving Ringo into his new 'love nest'
Ok then, I guess we all get to eat....!
