so as many of you know, my pigs are being treated for ringworm. Piglet had the active infection, roger as his pen-pal (hehe-sorry no pun intended!) was being treated as a precaution. The vet gave us a two week prescription. The infection was on his left ear, and it was pretty gross (he has black ears, so it was a white, scaly lookin thing). Any way the point of all this, is that after the first few days the infection began clearing up pretty fast, and his ear looked almost normal. I was brushing him a few mins ago and i noticed his ear looking a little strange again. It's nowhere near as bad as it was, but i dont think it's quite normal yet. Today is supposed to be his last dose. There is a little bit left in the bottle...do you think i should keep giving it to him longer? Or should i call the vet and see what they think? The issue is, the initial visit cost nearly $200, and i have literally no money at the moment, and i wont have money till next week. so i was thinking, if we did take him, wouldnt they give us more of the same meds? I want what's best for him, but idk what that is.
