I just want to share this post, for it might help other guinea pig owners. When my guinea pig got ring worm it was such a pain in the. That was my very first experience and it wasn’t fun at all. I ask a lot of people’s advice because I didn’t want to spend money and had no time going to the vet, for I am a college student. From doing a lot of research; asking people questions and buying anti fungal cream from drugstores. I ended up going to the vet because it was getting worst and it was spreading from parts of her body (she was scratching it till it bleeeds). The vet gave her an oral anti fungal med and it cleared in two weeks plus applying the anti fungal cream.

Lesson learned! Always bring you guinea pig to the vet #1 recommended advice for anyone who is doubting that it wouldn’t be worth it! It might be expensive or time consuming but.. it’ll be an easier way to make your guinea pig not suffer and make them happy!

Here’s some pictures throughout her experience with ringworm
