Ringworm

So, my poor new boys have both got raging ringworm. Have been to the vets and got the treatment recommended in your guide. Just so frustrating, we had such terrible times health wise with our rats and had hoped the pigs would be a bit more robust.

Hopefully one we've got on top of it they'll be fine!

All the best! It is going to be a rough couple of weeks, but you hopefully get past it permanently.

I am currently dealing with it as well as one of my piggies has come down with it (again). Barri was surrendered to rescue earlier this year with advanced ringworm after wrongly applied home treatment and after the first vet he was finally seen by wanted to put him to sleep. I'm not happy about the outbreak, either, and am keeping my fingers very firmly crossed re. my other piggies! :(
 
I'm sorry you are dealing with ringworm.i found F10 disifectant solution very good for spraying hutches and cages! it gets rid of fungal spores.Good luck.x

Yes, I have this. Using it to clean cage and floor of the room they're being kept in.
