This really has not been a good month for me, my girl sookie has had multiple things wrong with her and now I've just found a lump on my baby girl Rio. It's about the size of a pea and just next to one of her nipples so I'm worried it might be a mammary tumor. Sookie has a couple fatty lumps which are the same size and feel the same as this lump, so fingers crossed that's all it is. It's so frustrating having yet another pig with something wrong with her. I feel like I must be a bad piggy mum. :(
Rio does seem very happy and healthy despite this, she's a good healthy weight and isn't showing any signs of illness. Going to try and squeeze in a vet visit today.

I have got a vets appointment booked for this evening. One side of it does feel attached, which really has me worried. :(

Aw hun, try to remain optimistic despite your awful time of late...
Your Vet is very competent so little Rio will get the best treatment if needed :)
Hugs and all paws crossed here it's just a cyst x>>

Thanks, I'll try not to worry too much. :)

Thanks for your replies, I'm back from the vets who said the lump is not attached to anything, is most likely a benign fatty lump and not to worry about it unless it grows or starts to cause her any problems. So i'm very relieved for now but will keep a close eye on it.

:laluot_15: Yay, that is good, one of our girls had a cyst and it never caused any problems :)
So pleased you have some positive news (you know what I mean mallethead)
Hugs x>>
