So sorry Ron, why are these pigs passing away? Any ideas. That's three isn't it? :'(
 
they have picked up 'something thats giving them the runs but what ever it is is lethal 'cause when it strikes .....
They have been dead within 12 hours
its so annoying!
and i'm angry at the previous 'owners' :tickedoff:
time to chill calm and relax or else i'll be popping fuses!
 
Dreadful, we are keeping everything crossed that no more become ill. :smitten:

unfortunately the new babies are in isolation too! :(
as are the other girls who are probably pregnant too!
its just annoying waiting as its a case of wait and see!

Could a poop analysis be done? My pig had the eimeria parasite in his gut and the diahorrea that can cause is fatal very quickly :-\
 
I hope the rest will be ok O0 My vet said the antibiotic of choice is septrin if it is eimeria parasite.This results in coccidiosis and is more common than many think.

Hope you find out what it is, their previous living conditions probably hold the clue.

RIP lovely Alice, only met you briefly but such a pretty girly. Hope you are running free with Mr Pig and baby Beatrice.

So heartbreaking, hope the rest are ok or we can find out what is wrong and treat it.

am so sorry for your lost :'( :'( :'( RIP sweet alice and to your unborn babies run free in paradise with beatrice and mr pig and all the piggies and angels. find happiness and peace and popcorn forever in the clouds. 0:) 0:) 0:) you had a hard life but knew love at the end and was loved at the end as you went in their arms. you will be so sorely missed.
