Rip Bakura. Sadly Missed

After the dear loss of Romano from old age on 25th May and Ryou on the 28th May I then had further heartbreak by losing my only remaining boar, Bakura.
He was Romano's cagemate and started to show signs of depression. I did all I could for him, including sitting him beside my female piggies but sadly it was too much and on the 13th June I lost him.

I was so upset that until now I wasn't able to make a thread dedicated to him. I miss him so much and still suffer from a terribly guilty heart. I wish I had been able to help him. He was only 2 years old.

I know he's now back with Romano where he wanted to be and the two will be popcorning away and eating grass with Romano's old boarfriend, Matthew who also passed of old age.

He was such a sweet boy. My other 4 piggies loved to chew insanely at the bars that it drove me and my family nuts but he was such a gentle pig he'd gently clamp his teeth on the bar and do a single nibble then sit back and wait. He used to be a proper poser with his long luxurious hair and I got many stunningly beautiful photos of him. He always seemed to know when the camera was on him and seemingly posed for it making sure I got his best side. I terribly miss him.

RIP my beautiful baby boy. You were gone far too soon x

I did all I could for him the day he died including staying up until 5am then I had no choice but to go to bed. When I woke up he had sadly just passed (as he was still warm when I found him.) I know I did all I could but there's always the part that wishes I could have done more.

I know - it was heart-breaking for me when my Terfel followed the last of his cataract wives to the Rainbow Bridge even though I had introduced a new sow some months earlier. But the loss was enough to tip over his delicate health balance. You always wish there was something more...

They're such sweet animals. I had really hoped Ryou's girls would cheer him up but I think he just had such a connection with Romano. Poor little guys.
