I lost my gorgeous, crazy, inquisitive, noisy, bossy guinea pig on Saturday. She got a chest infection and deteriorated quickly despite lots of treatment. I didn’t expect to lose her so soon and was devastated when the vet told me that euthanasia was the only option left. So this is a little memory of Tallulah. I will miss her loads, as will her bereaved cage-mate Sookie-Sue (who will hopefully be bonded with a new pal after the Christmas period). RIP Hula-Talluah 💕

Oh, so sorry you have lost Tallulah, she reminds me so much of my first piggie 50 years ago

Thank you everyone. So nice to get support from people who understand. So many people snort and give the “its only a guinea pig” comment. Makes you feel that you can’t mention it to anyone x

I know exactly what you mean but they are folks who have never had the pleasure of bonding with a piggie, caring every day and nursing them when they are poorly. I miss all of my past piggies and it makes me appreciate the short time we enjoy with them. You are blessed to have had her as was she. Rest in peace pretty girl x
