A very sad day today for the household as we had to make the heart wrenching decision to have Biscuit put to sleep.
She was an adorable, albeit occasionally grumpy piggie, who had been living on her own after we had lost fudge (both female) last January.
Biscuit was always very vocal and ate everything good for her but two weeks ago she stopped making any noises at all and slowed her eating. The vet showed me that she had a large growth (probably on her kidney) and prescribed her pain relief. Unfortunately this morning, we were advised that it was probably inoperable and being 5 years old the prognosis following a GA was not good.
The Vet was excellent and genuinely interested in us and Biscuit, I would like to extend my thanks to him.
She will be buried in the garden with Brindle, Chestnut, Treacle and Fudge who preceded her to piggie heaven.
Although this is my first post, I would like to thank the forum for the help and comfort it has offered over the last two weeks.
