Hi everyone...

I've not been on the forum for a while because at first I had to give Chilli and Pepper to a friend, and now I found out that they caught a cold, and it just escalated into all kinds of problems... I won't go into details but they ran over the rainbow bridge together, in one night... I will be posting a poem in their memory, I will try to get a picture as well, but my memory chip broke and so did my computer, so I don't know if I have any more...

I hope that you can retrieve some very precious memories. Have you got some pictures of them on the forum that you could copy for yourself?

Have you got some on social media that you can access? You can usually simply copy and paste them. My concern is less that we get to see Pepper and Chilli but that you have some accessible memories. ;)
 
Aha! I found some that I had printed before my camera broke! I don't have a scanner though so it might be a few days till I can put some picture up!
 
Aw no that's sad news and not having the photos is like salt rubbed into your wounds. I'm very sorry to read about Chilli and Pepper. :hug:

Sending big hugs for you. So sorry for your sad loss. Please don't let it put you off ever having piggies again in the future should you find your circumstances are suitable.:(.
 
For everyone who has left messages, thank you! And this definitely won't stop me from having guinea pigs! As I was in the process of getting some new piggies when I found out about their.. Going over TRB... And I don't plan to change them! The piggies were born to one of my friends newest piggies from a shelter, and it turned out she was preggers! She had two girls and two boys! I'm taking the girls! But that was only last week! And I'd like to wait a few months! Till they are more than ready to leave their mum and they are used to being handled! can't wait! It was a couple of months ago that Chilli and Pepper...moved on, but I've been to upset to even come online until now... Which is why it's so late! Sorry! Thank you for all your support..!
 
So for anyone who is concerned the boys are no longer with their mum as they are about 2 weeks old, and we checked with a vet that mum isn't pregnant again! She didn't want to separate them too early... All is good the boys are going to join a herd of 2! And they have been being intergrated properly! Exciting ! But I do wish they could have met chilli and pepper..!
 
I am so sorry to read of your loss of Chilli and Pepper. Glad you have found some photos to cherish. They will stay in your heart forever.
