Sadly Cookie my little girl has gone to rainbow bridge 8...8...8...
Went to give her and Chip their morning veggies and there she was on her side, passed away :(
She was fine last night, eating away on the nuggets and carrot. No sign at all anything was wrong.
I went to bed quite late (2am), all was fine then.
I dont think she had been gone too long as her dear little body was still slightly warm.

You always made us laugh with your funny ways. I loved how you used to hold on to my finger when i was at the cage door and having to hold on to the piece of apple as you ate.
Run free at the bridge. Choc, Rosie and Penny will be waiting for you
RIP my dear little Cookie. Mummy, Daddy, Chip and Stella the cat will miss you so much.
xxxxxx

just wanted to say again hon, I'm so sorry, you dont seem to have too much luck with your piggies, you must be so heartbroken.

You know where we are if you want a meet up or gab or anything. x>>

Take lots of care x

The poor darling, so sorry to hear you lost Cookie. She'll be popcorning at the bridge and enjoying all the noms she ever dreamed of.

Thank you for your messages :)
I can't help but think... what am i doing wrong?

After having my first 2 piggies for 3-4 years and then in a space of a few months loosing 2 piggies one after the other. Choc and now Cookie.

But with Choc only being 12 weeks old and Cookie only 9 months old i rack my brain to try and think what ive done.
Ive loved and looked after all my piggies the same. Always been fed, water always available, cleaned out regularly, treats, floor time, garden time, the list goes on. So why is this happening?

Sorry if I'm going on but i just feel I'm to blame for not getting these piggies to a good old age

not much you can do because they are a prey animal they won't show illness if they do its often too late anyway

dont be hard on yourself Emma, you had cookie to the vets not much more you can do really except give all your love and care which you do totally.

None of mine have ever got past 3 1/2 so i know exactly what you mean, i think you just have to look at it that at least you had a chance to love and spoil them even if for a short time, better than not at all.

x>>

So sorry to hear about Cookie, she was a sweetie. Don't blame yourself Emma, you have done everything right and been a wonderful mummy. These things just happen unfortunately. Thinking of you x

So sorry to hear about Cookie. Popcorn free at rainbow bridge little one..

Really sorry about your loss Emma,in my experience it is something that happens sometimes without any obvious warning. It has happened to me in the past with one or two piggies who have given little or no sign of being ill and have then just gone so quickly.. I am sure your piggies have the best possible love and care it is just one of those things. Come and see us soon when the new babies arrive,I am still reeling from finding Snowy was pregnant when I got her,but alls well that ends well and the babies will be loved. Hope to see you soon.

Dear Emma whee are so sorry to hear about little Cookie 8...8...8...
