RIP Dele Ali

[Piggy foster mum]

I lost little Dele Ali today, we’d cared for him as a fosterer for just over a year after he was abandoned in a park during the World Cup. We were due to adopt him as he had lots of health issues and I couldnt bare the thought of someone else looking after him, he was always such a little fighter, loved his food especially mint . Today was his time but I didn’t get to say goodbye before he passed and I’m heart broken. We’ve only had his cage mate for 5 weeks and she loved him so much. Even though she knew he’d died and has had lots of cuddles from me, when I put her back in her cage she was still looking for him and chattering away. I can’t stop crying he was the best quinea pig ever.

Thank you. He was spoilt and also my favourite because of how he became so chilled out compared to how nervous he was when he came to us.
