RIP Hamish- My Special Little Fella

Hi everyone, Hamish passed away this morning- he'd been recovering well from his bladder stone op a fortnight ago, but having so many ops in his little lifetime had damaged his kidneys and they started failing a couple of days ago. He died peacefully this morning, leaving us with some super memories, and a very big hole in our lives.
Despite Hamish being nearly 6 and a half, I only recently joined the forum earlier this year to try and find some advice for one of his many ailments! The help and advice fellow forum members have given us has been invaluable, so thank you everyone for all your help! We are now pigless at home, but I am still aunty to my sister's clan of 7, so I shall certainly be staying on the forum in the future!
 
sorry about your little fella, rip hamish sleep well.

One of my boys had a bladder stone op a week ago but sadly they couldnt remove it due to it being stuck in his tube going from kidney to bladder. Damn these bladder stones...

I'm sorry for your loss and I'm shore he has had a long and wonderful life. I have also lost my piggy minni because she had something wrong with her intestins.
 
You did everything you could for him. So very sorry for your loss.

I am very sorry for your loss; it sounds like you did everything for him that you could - and that he lived to a very good age despite his ongoing health issues.
