RIP little Percy-pie x

This is my first rainbow bridge post.

This morning I woke up and had a strange feeling that something wasn't right. I looked over to Percy's cage to see if he'd eaten any of the boiled egg I'd left him and he hadn't. I looked at the bottom level of the cage and saw him lying there. He reached the grand old age of three.

I got Percy back in 2010 from a friend of my sister. She had just adopted a rescue dog and was worried that one day Percy (then Polly) would become breakfast.

He came in a rather small cage and I managed to get my hands on a really big cage for him and a nice big wheel for him to run all night ever since he's had a lovely life and I'm so glad he came to me.

I am absolutely gutted today, but I'm going to be positive and now use Percy's cage to offer a home to another homeless ham.

RIP little Percy, you were the nicest soul x
