Our 5 year 3 month natural coated piggy has passed away last night 7 th march 2017. She went so quick no weight loss or signs of illness went to give her her nightly veg portion and she was panting to breath I thought uti and was ready with the baytril. Picked her up to look at her put her back down she walked to her bed and just keeled over and that was that she just shut down . I guess heart failure. She has gone to join her mates over the bridge daisy lilly and Lilly Anne. Reunited . Must be glad she went so quick and did not suffer she was still squeaking at me for her veggies mon night . God bless you ratty good night

Aw that's very sad. As you say it could be heart failure, but what ever it was it sounds like there was nothing that could have been done for her. It is a blessing that it was quick, but still very sad. Was she the last of your piggies?
Huge hugs
Run to the Bridge Maisy, your friends will show you the way xx

So sorry for your loss but it's fortunate it was so quick she didn't suffer. Popcorn free Maisy xx

I am so sorry for the sudden loss of your piggy, sometimes sudden losses hit you so hard because you weren't expecting them. Try and remember they had a fantastic life with you full of love

Sleep well little one

RIP Ratty

I am very sorry for your loss!

A sudden death can really be a shock for you although for the piggy involved it is one of the kindest ways to go, I keep telling myself. I just lost my Tanni in a similar way in January; I found her just slumped on her belly with her mouth still full of hay. Her heart attack out of the blue obviously happened while she was browsing, and she can't have suffered. Sh was 6 years old.

RIP Maisy
